Artist's Description
I'm a poet and an artist.I do not know which of the two prevails-sometimes I just write, sometimes I just paint, but very often the painting and the verse appear together-as in this case.I write my verses in my native language-Bulgarian.I tried to translate this poem, but unfortunately my English is not very good, and the rhythm and melodicness have lost...But in general, the meaning remains and you can understand what emotions have taken me to create this painting. "Bouquet for Mom"
Bouquet of flowers I brought, Mom,
I put them home and not on the grave .
I don't believe that you are only
two handfuls of earth-there in the ground.
When I tried to open the door ,
she creaked with a little sadness ,
almost forgot how people ever
have crossed on the wooden threshold .
A long, long time the spiders only
live in the rooms ,sunk in silence.
And the memories of the old desk,
they invite me to go for a walk.
I forgot that I was in a hurry...
